We have launched new automatic system for product registration and send-in service. It can save time for our customers in requiring services. Here is how to do it:

1. Go to www.digiweigh.us or www.digiweighusa.com (redirect).

2. Click “Register” to register Free membership (Registered customers can just log in and skip to Step 6.)

3. Read “Terms & Conditions” and click “I agree” if you agree the terms. (If you have any questions about the terms, you can’t proceed with the registration. Please send email to support@digiweighusa.com)

4. Fill authentic information in the registration form (fields with * are required) and click “Submit”.

5. If the registration is successful, you will see the following page:

6. Log in and enter Service Center. Click “Add” beside the “Registered Product” to register your product.

7. Select the product from the drop down list and fill in all the purchase information. Contact support@digiweighusa.com if you can’t find your product model from the drop down list.

8. You can see the product in “Registered Products” after registration. Service request can be submitted only when the defective product is registered. Click “Add” beside the “My Service Request”.

9. System will remind you our Scale Troubleshooting can help you with the problem of the scale so you may avoid the send-in service. If you have already tried the Troubleshooting or you were instructioned by our technician to submit send-in service, just click “Service Agreement”.

10. Read and click “I agree” if you agree the service agreement. If you have any questions about the agreement, please contact support@digiweighusa.com.

11. Select the product you need to send in and fill up the product information (QTY, Problem Description and Serial Number). If you need to change the shipping address you may do so. If you don’t change the address, we will send the replacement to the default address in your profile.

12. When the request is successfully submitted, you can see your requests in “My Service Requests”. The status will be changed if we are processing your request. Please follow the instructions by the emails sent by the system.

You can track your service request any time in “My Service Requests”.

A17 counting indicator used on DWP-440C can be calibrated only in KG. However, after serveral tests, we found the exact Addload parameter for 100LBs. Please do as following:

1. With the scale powered on, press and hold Quantity button and press Value button. The display will ask you to enter password. (If this doesn’t show up please put the calibration switch on the back of the indicator to the other position).
2. Key in 319017 then press Quantity button. The display will show the first parameter E. If you don’t need to change the parameters, press Quantity until the display shows Noload on the top line.
3. Make sure the scale platform is empty and check if the bottom line of the display is stable. If yes, press Quantity button and it will go to AddLoad.
4.Key in 45.36 then place the 100LB calibration weight on the scale. Wait until the bottom line is stable then press Quantity button.
5. Scale goes back to weighing mode. Press and hold Quantity then press 4 button to switch it to pound mode. (You can see P on the screen.)
6. Check if the scale is accurate.

DIGIWEIGH scales are using Strain Gauge technology.  So it may help to use a scale better by knowing how scales work:

A  strain gauge is a long length of conductor arranged in a zigzag pattern on a membrane. When it is stretched, its resistance increases:

Strain gauges are mounted in the same direction as the strain and often in fours to form a full ‘Wheatstone Bridge’.

An downward bend stretches the gauges on the top and compresses those on the bottom. A load cell may contain several similar strain gauges elements.

If you purchased a floor scale, you may receive the scale in two separate shipments:  the scale base and the indicator.

We do so to elimiate the shipping damage to the minimum.  The scale base is big and heavy so we usually ship it by trucking.  The indicator is an electronical device.  It may be damaged if we ship together with the scale base.  So we usually ship the indicator by UPS. 

When you receive both shipments, you need to do initial setup before using.  Please check the following video clip showing how to do it:
